Used NovaStar LED Video Processor & Control System
Showing the single result
NovaStar is the control side of the business. We keep the VX400s-N video processor in stock for customers who need a reliable, well supported processor to drive a used screen. It is the unit we most often send out with the 12 batches of used panels — roughly 1,490 m² across 4 brands — held for rental customers in Shenzhen.

What the VX400s-N does
The NovaStar VX400s-N is an all-in-one LED video processor and controller, and it is the unit we supply most often with our used rental screens. It takes HDMI, DVI, SDI and 4K inputs, handles switching and scaling internally, and drives up to 2.6 million pixels per sending output — enough for a wide P3.91 wall on a single port.
This is a used unit. It has been bench-tested against a live cabinet batch, its firmware is updated to the current release, and the receiving-card parameters for the panels you buy from us are loaded and verified before dispatch.

Why buy the processor and the screen together
Buying the processor and the screen from the same supplier removes the single most common cause of a wall that will not come online: mismatched output mapping and receiving-card settings. When both ship from us, the mapping is configured and verified against the batch before the cases are closed. Bulk pricing applies when the processor ships together with a screen order.
Compatibility and control
Tell us the cabinet model, the pixel pitch, the target resolution of the wall and the input sources you need, and we will confirm whether the VX400s-N is the right match — or recommend an equivalent with the same output capacity where it is not.
Questions about the VX400s-N
Is this a new or used unit?
Used and refurbished. It has been bench-tested against a live cabinet batch, its firmware is updated to the current release, and factory defaults have been restored before configuration. It is used, and it is sold after the same treatment our panel batches get: bench test, component replacement where needed, configuration check and an ageing run under power before dispatch.
Will it drive my existing screen?
Send us the cabinet model, the pixel pitch, the target resolution and the input sources. We will confirm whether the VX400s-N is the right match, or recommend an equivalent with the same output capacity if it is not.
Is the configuration pre-loaded?
Yes. When the processor ships with a screen order, the receiving-card parameters for your cabinet model and pixel pitch are loaded and verified before dispatch, and the project file is exported and handed over to your operator.
What inputs does it take?
HDMI 1.4, DVI, 3G-SDI and 4K HDMI, with Dante and analogue audio in and out, controlled over USB or Ethernet using NovaLCT or VCanvas.
What warranty comes with it?
A 90-day warranty on the unit. Bulk pricing applies when the processor ships together with a screen order.
Using the VX400s-N with our panel batches
The processor is the same unit whether it drives P3.91 or P6.944, but the configuration is not. When a VX400s-N ships with one of our batches, the receiving-card parameters are set for that cabinet model and pixel pitch, the output mapping is laid out for the wall size you have ordered, and the project file is exported so your operator can load it and run.
That is the practical difference between buying a processor and buying a working screen. If you already own a processor, tell us the model and we will say whether it can drive the batch — and if it cannot, we will say that too, before you buy panels it will not support.
