Gloshine batches in stock
Gloshine is the largest part of our used stock and the brand most often requested for touring and rental work. These are the batches physically on our floor, with the areas they were collected in. Cabinet and module dimensions are confirmed per batch on request.
| Pitch | Indoor / outdoor | Batch area | Cabinet size | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| P4.81 | Outdoor | 63 m² | Confirm on request | |
| P3.91 | Outdoor | 99 m² | Confirm on request | |
| P3.91 | Indoor | 115 m² | Confirm on request | |
| P6.944 | Outdoor | 131 m² | Confirm on request | |
| P3.91 | Indoor | 150 m² | Confirm on request | |
| P4.81 | Outdoor | 62 m² | Confirm on request | |
| Total | 6 batches | ≈620 m² | — |
Ask for any of these by pitch and indoor or outdoor version, and we will send photographs, video and the batch specification sheet.
Pitch options for Gloshine
Gloshine screens are made in more pitches than we hold at any one time. This is what we can supply now and what has to be sourced.
| Pitch | Comfortable viewing distance | Indoor / outdoor | Availability |
|---|---|---|---|
| P2.91 | About 3 m and further | Indoor | Not currently held — sourced on request |
| P3.91 | About 4 m and further | Indoor and outdoor | In stock — Indoor, Outdoor |
| P4.81 | About 5 m and further | Indoor and outdoor | In stock — Outdoor |
| P6.944 | About 7 m and further | Outdoor | In stock — Outdoor |
Viewing distances are a planning guide rather than a hard limit. If you need a pitch that is not held, tell us the quantity and the date and we will check what is coming through instead of promising stock we do not have.
Cabinet and module specifications
Two batches of the same brand and pitch can still differ in cabinet size, brightness and refresh rate. Rather than publish one generic datasheet that would be wrong for at least one batch, we send the specification of the batch you are actually buying.
| Specification | How you get it | Why it decides the project |
|---|---|---|
| Cabinet size (mm) | Batch specification sheet on request | Wall build, rigging plan and packing volume |
| Module size (mm) | Batch specification sheet on request | Spare-part sourcing after delivery |
| Brightness (nits) | Batch specification sheet on request | Indoor legibility versus daylight outdoor use |
| Refresh rate (Hz) | Batch specification sheet on request | Camera work — a low refresh rate flickers on video |
| Cabinet weight (kg) | Batch specification sheet on request | Truss and ground-support load calculations |
| Power consumption | Batch specification sheet on request | Generator and distribution sizing on site |

We photograph and film the batch before packing. If a batch has marks or scuffs, you will see them in the photographs rather than discover them at the venue.
Gloshine — questions buyers ask
How much Gloshine do you actually hold?
Six batches, about 620 m² in total, covering P3.91 and P4.81 in both indoor and outdoor versions plus a 131 m² P6.944 outdoor batch. The largest single batch in our stock is 150 m² of P3.91 indoor.
Can I add to a Gloshine batch later?
If the batch is still in stock, yes — buying the wall and any later expansion from the same batch is the cleanest way to avoid a brightness or colour mismatch. Ask us to hold the balance rather than assume it will still be here next season.
Is Gloshine suitable for touring?
It is the brand we supply most often for touring and rental work, in P3.91 and P4.81. Tell us the wall size, the pitch and how many shows a year it will do, and we will tell you whether a rental-grade or a fixed cabinet suits that duty cycle better. Touring stock also goes through an ageing test before it ships — powered and left running for a sustained period, so marginal power supplies and early lamp-bead failures are caught here rather than on your rig.
Does the batch come with spare modules?
Yes. Spare parts are prepared according to the order quantity — power supply, receiving card, mask, LED and IC — and because we refurbish rather than just resell, replacements can be matched to the batch after delivery too.
The P6.944 outdoor batch, and what it is for
Our Gloshine stock includes a 131 m² P6.944 outdoor batch — the coarsest pitch we hold, and the one usually specified where the audience is far away and the wall is large. At that pitch the LED count per square metre drops, wind load falls, and the picture reads cleanly from a distance where a finer pitch would be wasted money.
It is also the batch that pairs least well with the rest. Assembling P6.944 and P3.91 into one wall is not a mix we would recommend, so if you are building a single large surface, tell us the whole area up front and we will point you at one batch rather than two. Where a Gloshine order needs both an indoor wall and an outdoor wall, we keep the two clearly separated on the packing list.
Gloshine is one of 4 brands we hold: 6 batches ≈ 620 m² with roughly 620 m² of the 1,490 m² currently on our floor. If you are comparing makers and pitches, the product page lists everything in stock and the brand overview puts Gloshine next to Dicolor and LightLink. What is tested before dispatch, and what paperwork comes with the batch, is set out on the inspection records page.
